Graham Connor DipMarSur TechIIMS is a technical member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors IIMS, and is an independent marine yacht surveyor .

Surveyor of racing,cruising,classic yachts,components, and motor yachts that are built using wood and composites in the construction. 

 Built, campaigned, delivered, raced and cruised numerous dinghies and yachts accumulating 200 000 miles sailing over a forty year period starting at the age of six in Australia.  

  One of the many build projects was Fantasy in 1983. The brief was to build her light and strong. This was achieved using one of the first batches of materials by SP Systems, now called Gurit.   She was built using the cold mould method of construction.

A graduate from Warsash Maritime Faculty, Southampton 1995, with a diploma in yacht and small craft surveying and composites, DipMarSur. after which he followed a career in the composites industry and continued in the marine industry.

 

An award winner for innovation from the DTI to find ways of manufacturing components using composites without the use of moulds.
