Various yachts and rigging that have been surveyed /inspected by International Yacht Surveys 135ft yacht suffered from mast compression. inspections and dye tests were carried out on the mast and rod rigging at Pendennis. The mast was jacked up to tighten the rig with no fail safe on the hydraulics.The lower 40ft of the mast section was replaced along with the rod rigging.
