Components inspections play a major part of the safe running of yachts and motor yachts to insure injury and failure do not occur. The loads obtained on today's yachts are immense, from the keel to the running parts. Inspections and ongoing maintanance programes insure costs and failures are kept to a minimum. 

Engine Oil Analysis  

Engine Oil Analysis is available for all types of yachts and vessels.Once oil samples have been obtained  they are dispatched to the laboratory and tested for any impurity and wear. This saves time  and money before failure occurs.

The particles in the engine oil are broken down and some of the parts tested within the oil are:

Viscosity of oil  Water  Iron  Chromium  Aluminium  Copper  Lead  Tin  Nickel  Silicon  Sodium  Boron  Vanadium  Calcium  Phosphorus  Zinc  Magnesium  Barium  Phosphorus.
